The client is an avid car enthusiast and as a result, desired the ability to see his car collection from anywhere in the house. To meet this request, we aimed to make all shared living spaces as openly transparent as possible to create visual continuity throughout the entirety of the house. The living room acts as the primary aperture to all other living spaces and is also the location of a staircase that connects the two bedrooms, allowing the inhabitants to look down on the living room. This will allow the inhabitants to see the entire house from end-to-end, top to bottom and towards the outdoors achieving this visual continuity on all dimensions. The house also contains a spacious garage that also serves as a workshop/office for the client when not used to store his vehicles. Construction is expected to be completed by the end of 2020.
