The site for this project was quite limited and restricted in terms of size and space, with only 9 meters of opening connecting it to the main road. The main challenge of the project was to produce a house that responds and compliments the shape of the site. This was quite difficult as long and narrow homes would usually lead to ineffective natural ventilation and light. This problem was solved by placing a courtyard in the middle of the building. This opening allowed for more ventilation and sunlight, while also introducing more greenery at the very heart of the building.
